Howdy, from Lost Creek Ranch!!! If you have a love for horses and nature this is the place to be. We are located in a secluded valley, surrounded by whispering pines and an abundance of wildlife. Bordered by the famous Lost Creek trout stream, eagles soar above the ranch making you feel like you’ve stepped into a little piece of heaven. We offer lessons, training, and leasing. Here at Lost Creek you will experience lots of TLC for the horses and family. We have hours of beautiful trails to ride on along with picnic and camp sites, making every night a good night for a camp fire. Lost Creek Ranch offers a large outdoor lighted arena, round pen, large paddocks and stalls. Shelter is provided in all of our turn out areas. Our annual CAMP CONFIDENCE residential kids camps starts the second week in June, with ongoing sessions through out the summer. It’s always a favorite among the kids and parents! The children stay in our bunkhouse and have their own horse for the week they’re here. At the end of every camp session we put on a horse show for family and friends to show what we have accomplished together.

We are an official 501(c) non-profit organization as of November 2009. Many of our kids' lesson and camp horses were either rescued, given to us in hopes of providing them a more fulfilling life, or else given to us simply because they were no longer wanted. Some are seniors who require special diets and/or supplements and more frequent dental care. Others have certain medical, joint and/or hoof issues that also require specialized diets, supplements and frequent appointments with the farrier. What's Happening Now: Western Dressage clinics Sunday August 14th & Saturday September 24th in conjunction with the Midwest Western Dressage Association. $100 for members of MWWD & $125 for non members. Come learn about this sport and how to train a more supple, responsive horse.  Download registration form and return it with your $50 deposit to hold your space.

Fall Horsemanship for Kids: Saturdays 10:00- 2:00 p.m. starting in September. Sign up now! Beginner and Advanced groups are divided for individualized instruction. Students learn Western and English riding (including jumping for advanced riders).

Focused Internships: Lost Creek Ranch offers a limited number of internships to individuals seeking to further their knowledge. Fall/ Winter Focused Internships include: Barn Management, Equine Nutrition, Colt Starting/ Training Green Horses, Riding Instructor 101 (learn teaching techniques for kids to adults). Ages 16 & up.

Working Student Program

This program is geared to students interested in learning all they can about horses and have a strong desire to improve their horsemanship and riding skills. Working students must have a strong work ethic and willingness to become a valued team member at Lost Creek Ranch.

Working students recieve lessons and riding time for the hours they work.
